The Littlest Heroes Project is a non-profit based organization founded in January 2008, made up of international professional photographers that provide free photo sessions to children (an their families) with serious illnesses or life altering disabilities. Through the power of photography, The Littlest heroes Project aims to give back and is taking a stand for these children who sometimes feel forgotten because of their illnesses. Through the projects, we are here to let them know that they are heroes to many, and to share their inspirational stories and photos with the world.
I am very proud to be part of this amazing cause. My youngest son was born with a cleft lip and palate and I remember how difficult it was to cope with surgery at such a young age; I can only imaging how it must feel to be a Mother of a child with a serious illness or disability. The Littlest Heroes Project is such an incredible opportunity for photographers to help these families capture the special moments in their childrens’ lives; moments that don’t involve doctors, specialists, therapists, or medicine.
If you have a child, or know a child, who suffers from any type of serious illness or life altering disability please visit the website. Through The Littlest Heroes Project you will be put in contact with a local photographer who will provide you with a complimentary photo shoot for your hero and family.
